Although she spent much of her childhood in New Jersey, Clara has lived most of her life in Richmond, Virginia. After graduating from the International Baccalaureate program at Tucker High School, she attended the University of Virginia where she earned her degree in Cognitive Science and Spanish.
Before entering the legal field, Clara gained valuable experience as a physical therapy technician, where she assisted in providing patients with quality care. Working in healthcare, she demonstrated a deep level of compassion and a desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives, which she continues as a paralegal.
Because of her family ties to Puerto Rico and Spain, Clara is fluent in English and Spanish, and is thus able to effectively communicate with clients of diverse backgrounds. She enjoys connecting with clients on a personal level and guiding those in need through the legal process.
Outside of work, Clara likes to spend her time hiking, doing puzzles with her family, and watching UVA sporting events. Additionally, she has been a swimmer her whole life and now spends her spare time as a swim coach, hoping to instill her passion for the sport in young athletes.
