Broughton Injury Law has been fortunate to associate with other lawyers and law firms for serious personal injury cases. Many of our large, complex cases are referrals from other lawyers or joint ventures with other trial lawyers.

We limit our practice to serious personal injury and wrongful death cases.  By doing so, we are able to provide the focus and attention necessary to prepare these cases for trial.  Good results do not come by accident.  They come from being prepared and ready to win at trial.

Under Virginia’s ethics rules, lawyers in other firms are permitted to divide fees as long as the clients are advised and consent in advance. Most of Broughton Injury Law’s clients are referrals from other lawyers. We typically share 1/3 of attorney’s fees with referring attorneys subject to the Rules of Professional Conduct.
