The daughter of a Marine, Lara spent four years of her childhood in West Africa. Growing up in a third world country created a strong desire for Lara to help those in need. Lara spent the latter part of her childhood in Spotsylvania County, Virginia where she attended Chancellor High School and excelled at both field hockey and softball.
Lara played Division I field hockey at Radford University while she pursued a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Her time as a student-athlete not only honed her competitive spirit but also instilled in her the values of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership.
After college, Lara served as a police officer in Howard County, Maryland, where she worked tirelessly to uphold justice and ensure the safety of her community. It was during this time that Lara witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of reckless behavior and the importance of advocacy for victims.
Driven by a desire to advocate for victims, Lara transitioned to a role as a Victim Services Specialist for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Lara provided invaluable support and guidance to individuals and families affected by impaired driving, offering them a voice and a path towards healing.
Eager to deepen her involvement in the legal field, Lara then served as a paralegal in the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney for Stafford County, where she helped prepare cases for trial.
Today, Lara assists clients through all phases of the personal injury process, with an emphasis on preparing cases for trial.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Lara finds immense joy and fulfillment in her role as a devoted wife and mother of three wonderful children.
With her diverse background and unwavering commitment to justice and advocacy, Lara continues to make a positive impact in her community and beyond, embodying the principles of compassion, integrity, and excellence in all she does.
