Paralegal Supervisor

Lara Bradshaw

Lara Bradshaw is a professional and experienced Paralegal Supervisor.

Lara Bradshaw serves as a Paralegal Supervisor at Gray Broughton Injury Law, where she leads and mentors the firm’s prelitigation paralegal team. Combining hands-on case work with team leadership, Lara manages the daily operations of the prelitigation department: training new team members, implementing quality control measures, and coordinating with attorneys on case strategy through resolution. Epitomizing dedication in both her professional and personal life, Lara brings to this role a wealth of experience in law enforcement, victim advocacy, and trial preparation.

The daughter of a Marine, Lara spent four years of her childhood in West Africa, an experience that created a strong desire to help those in need. She spent the latter part of her childhood in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, where she attended Chancellor High School and excelled at both field hockey and softball. Lara went on to play Division I field hockey at Radford University while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Her time as a student-athlete honed her competitive spirit and instilled in her the values of teamwork, perseverance, and leadership—qualities that continue to define her approach to leading others today.

Lara’s path to the legal field began in public service. After college, she served as a police officer in Howard County, Maryland, where she worked tirelessly to uphold justice and ensure the safety of her community. It was during this time that Lara witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of reckless behavior and the importance of advocacy for victims.

Driven by a desire to advocate for those victims, Lara transitioned to being a Victim Services Specialist for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), where she provided invaluable support and guidance to individuals and families affected by impaired driving and offered them a voice and a path toward healing. Eager to deepen her involvement in the legal field, Lara then served as a paralegal in the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney for Stafford County, where she helped prepare cases for trial. Lara joined the Gray Broughton Injury Firm as a litigation paralegal, managing her own caseload through every stage of litigation for nearly two and a half years before being promoted to Paralegal Supervisor.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Lara finds immense joy and fulfillment as a devoted wife and mother of three wonderful children. Her competitive spirit continues in a local field hockey league and in coaching her children’s sports teams. Her downtime is spent tackling home improvement projects and enjoying trips with her family.
