(804) 613-4242Madeline Smith is a personal injury paralegal at Broughton Injury Law, who excels in collaboration, investigation, and interpersonal communication. Born and raised in Virginia, Madeline spent her life in and around Charlottesville, Virginia, until moving to Richmond to attend VCU.
Madeline attended Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with a degree in Anthropology and a Minor in English. Anthropology allowed her to combine her affinity for research with her passion for working with and understanding people.
Before entering the legal field, Madeline gained valuable experience in Property Management, becoming skilled in conflict resolution, resident disputes, and empowering individuals to understand and utilize their rights under the VRLTA.
Outside of the office, Madeline is a committed member of the Coalition Theater, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. She teaches improv classes, as well as performs in multiple teams and featured shows. Additionally, she has performed improv in multiple comedy festivals along the East Coast since January 2024. Improv performance and comedy has allowed her to embrace her enthusiastic and collaborative nature, while nurturing her creativity.
