Nathan Hittle is a professional and seasoned TRIAL ATTORNEY
Nathan Hittle is a trial lawyer at Gray Broughton Injury Law, where he applies his extensive courtroom experience to advocate for individuals injured by the negligence of others. Before joining the firm, Nathan served for more than a decade as a prosecutor in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office for the City of Richmond. During his tenure, he tried a wide range of cases involving violent crime, property crime, fraud, and complex traffic crashes. Nathan earned a reputation of acting with fairness, integrity, and determination to pursue justice — no matter the complexity of the case.
Today, Nathan draws on that trial experience to fight for his clients in personal injury cases, combining a prosecutor’s precision with a deep commitment to achieving just results.
Nathan earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Chapter President of the American Constitution Society, worked as an editorial board member of the Journal of Law & Politics, and completed internships with the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia and several Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Offices. Nathan also studied abroad at the University of Melbourne in Australia. Nathan received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, where he was inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society and was a district finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship.
Committed to continued professional growth, Nathan has completed advanced trial advocacy training through programs such as the National Trial Advocacy College, the National District Attorneys Association, and the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Services Council Trial Advocacy School.
Outside the office, Nathan is an accomplished jazz pianist who performs professionally throughout Central Virginia. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
