In addition to typical office manager duties, Shakeela handles financial responsibilities such as accounts payable and client distributions, as well as manages human resources functions.
Her exceptional organizational skills and warm, gregarious personality make her an invaluable asset in maintaining the high standards of service our clients expect. Shakeela’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence help streamline our processes and enhance the overall client experience.
Born in Afghanistan, Shakeela spent part of her childhood in Pakistan before moving to the United States as a teenager. She completed her high school education in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Richmond, Virginia. Her diverse background and global experience helped shape her multicultural perspective and adaptability.
Shakeela earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a minor in Religious Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s degree in Adult Learning and Teaching with a concentration in Human Resource Development from VCU in December 2023.
Prior to joining our firm, Shakeela served as an office manager and administrative coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University’s GEO and ELP programs, where she provided comprehensive student services and office management support.
Outside the office, Shakeela enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. She has a passion for learning new sports and celebrates her love of languages and cultures. Fluent in Farsi, English, and Urdu/Hindi, she is currently expanding her linguistic abilities by studying Spanish and Arabic. This multicultural background and commitment to global awareness enriches her ability to connect with our diverse client base and contribute to our firm’s welcoming environment.
